Getting back into the sport.
Well I have a DM5 sitting in the closet, shoots fine after a year of sitting there. An ego of which I sold the frame to, and a reg-less Shocker.
I'm thinking of selling them all and getting a PM7. : or

i really want a pm7. they really don't need an UL frame IMO. pretty nice feeling trigger and has all the modes you need. i stopped playing for awhile too and the first time i was at the field in a while i compared a black/blue pm7 to my dm4. they have come a LONG way. they're just so damn comfortable.

pm7 shoots a bit smoother (pmrs still shoot smooth like trixs but have more of a "pop" to it. kinda. hard to explain). people bash PMRs because they don't have an LPR but they don't need one because of the way they work. i'd go pm7 (for obvious reasons) but going PMR you won't be disappointed. just people online think they are for new players and you may be one of those people who thinks an expensive gun gives you a good rep. who knows. get whatever you want. lol.

the PMR is the proto's version of an ION except Composite plastic. because of the non-LPR bolt that it uses the performance will already lack in air efficency. the kick caused by the bolt is lowered because of performance and the obvious fact that it is a trix.
Pm7 all the way. and the UL frame is nice but if you don't have the money then the gun will still shoot lazerz

What the hell is a mini?
And why would you want the "smallest setup ever"?

It should be here today. I'm really excited.
For any of you other people in this situation Proto VS Mini. I'd say get the Mini
1) They're both extremely small, but the Proto is a few ounces heavier.
2) Proto has macroline=
3) Proto is just going to be like the next one that comes out at the cup.
4) They're the same price except for the "Limited Edition" Proto.

I'm gonna buy a DM6 a few months into college hopefully. Get some reball in this winter then hit up the fields with my old team whose field sponsor is 10 mins from campus ftw!
DM6 because they'll be cheaper after cup and I really don't see anything fantastic about the DM7 and haven't heard anything on the DM8 if there is one... and they're cheap now.

I can't see any differences between the DM6 and DM7.
Anyone clear this up for me?

I just got a dm7.
It's smaller and lighter than a 6. Comes with good self cleaning eyes. Lever feedneck. More efficient bolt kit.
Worth $1350? No. Worth what I bought it for? Yes.

I don't think the more efficient bolt kit matters at all. If you ask me a DM6 is pretty ****in efficient.. And it's smaller by like almost nothing.

If you don't think efficiency matters, don't play 7 man.
The 7 is actually quite a bit smaller. First time I held one I was really surprised.

No I'm saying I don't think the efficiency between the 6 and 7 is great enough to pay for a 7.
