Question pmr upgrade?

I just bought a pmr, what is the first upgrade that I should do to this gun to make it better?

maybe the back cap cause eventually the stock one will strip cause its plastic. and ya a ul frame would be good too but you have to spend some more $$$.

Fail. The UL frame is an honest waste of money. It is barely any lighter than the stock frame, and is also a little less comfortable. I would buy a new backcap, and possibly a new feedneck. When I got my PMR, I got a NDZ PMR Pro clamping feedneck with it, as well as a NDZ PMR backcap.

Yes, it is my opinion. But, I am entitled to my opinion. However, the fact here is that you're paying almost $200 just to have the name DYE on your trigger frame, even though the marker itself IS made by DYE, because DYE IS Proto.

I honestly do not see any advantages in having the UL frame on your PMR. It isn't very much lighter than the stock, isn't as comfortable (in my opinion), and is no stronger than the stock one either. Save your money and buy yourself a new feedneck and backcap. I would suggest NDZ for both of these new products.

By the way, if you people knew anything about dye/proto guns, you would know that the PMR UL Frame is actually heavier than the Stock PMR Frame. The UL Frame just makes the gun aluminum (heavier). The Stock Frame is a very strong Composite material (Lighter). The composite is also cheaper to make, therefore the PMR is cheaper. The PMR board is the same as the DM/PM 7 boards. Its basically the same as the DM/PM 7's except for the Composite frame and the internals (Boost Technology).

oh thank you mr 2k8'er. the PMR stock frame is made of the same material as the body, which is lighter than any piece of amuminum will ever be that is the same size. so UL frame=fail my friend. stock trigger felt ok to me so jsut new backcap and on/off asa(I'm not sure if it comes with one)

mr. 2k8'er?

Are you kidding me?

I've played the sport paintball for 13 years and have been a field owner for the last 4. I dont need some smart mouthed little brat telling me that I'm a noob.

Only if you came to my field and played a pump round with me. See how you like my cocker. Then you wouldn't talk so big. Oh and I'm really starting to get sick of these kids with their 250$ guns that shoot 20+ cycles per second.

But really, I sell these things. Sorry for knowing what I'm talking about.

umm, I was agreeing with you and thanking you for posting that. try and read before you get all PMS on an internet forum, and 2k8'er refers to your join date. and as for smart mouthed little brat, lol is all I gotta say bub.

and now that you feel like a jackass for jumping the gun on somebody that was on your side lets get back to the topic. new back cap, new trigger if you don't like the stock one, new bolt(isn't really necessary but it's nice to have, plus it should increase performance), and an on/off is all you need.
