the big regulator is for changing velocity. once the LPR is set, dont' mess with it

You can set your LPR if you want to really squeeze every last drop of whatever out of it.

The DM / PM L7 Bolt

it shows what to do later in the vid

Simply put, screw it all the way in(just like a screw) then back it out until you see the bolt cycling with ease.

awsome, thats what i was looking for, one question though, if you turn down the velocity enoufgh wont that effect how much air the lpr is getting? and would the bolt stop cycling after a while unless you also compensated by turning up the lpr?

Until the hpr is putting out less than the lpr, it won't affect it. At that point, I'm not sure if it would even be able to shoot...or even seal itself for that matter.

No it won't seal the regulator nor the solenoid. I just had that problem last night when I rebuilt the hyper 2 on my PM6. Don't mess with the HPR unless you rebuilt it hand have too, until then just tune the LPR and adjust the HPR for your preferred velocity when you go to a chrono.

ok sorry to kind of bring this thred back but i had something happen yesterday that i didnt have an explanation for and was wondering if anyone else did, so started out the day just fine, chronoed in at 272 +- 2 was playing great, about half way through the day i started getting some real bad FSDO, the first ball would go 5 feet, then 15 and so on untill about the 12th ball would be up to full speed and this would happen if i let it sit for maybe 10 seconds, it got worse and worse untill none were firing at full speed, i went over to the chrono with my allen wrench turned the lpr down untill it started venting air like its supposed to then back up untill the FSDO was gone. but why would it just do this half way through the day? any ideas?

to me at least it seems like its obviously not from bolt stick, this isnt the first time its done it either, could the adjustment screw in the lpr just be too loose? (it didnt seem like it was at least, its not like it was just freespinning around)

Lubrication issues, sudden gassing up causing the regulators to twitch slightly thus changing pressures.

4 cases is your problem. Lube it after every case or 2. Just do it after every day of play.

Lube bolt, check orings, CHANGE BATTERY. These things will solve the problems of any Dye marker 90% of the time.
