M6 firing problems..

it's practically brand new.. bought it 2 years ago and it's just sat because of the reasons i posted in an earlier post.. so i filled my nitrogen tank.. hooked everything up.. replaced the battery.. turned it on.. all seemed fine.. then i kept getting a blinking green light.. couldn't get a solid light.. i read the book and troubleshooting problems.. says i have a problem with the eye.. so i tried turning it off.. still had the same problem.. so should i take it apart and see if there is something wrong inside the gun with the eye?? thanks for any help given..

That's odd. Check that the eye is properly connected to the board and that the connectors are clean and free of debris.

this may sound like a dumb question but i have to ask because you never said, do you have paint in the marker?

if you dont have paint turn the eyes off and try firing it, if you do have paint, still turn the eyes off and try firing.

if nothing still works, it sounds like your regulator may not be set. mine does the same thing even if theres a ball in the breach if it wont fire because of a air problem

yeah, i had my hopper attached.. i tried adjusting the regulator.. i tried it with the eyes off and on.. i'm just use to semi autos with a way to cock them into place.. hopefully i'll be able to take it apart this week and figure out what's wrong with it.. can i just hook up the nitrogen and shoot air with it like you can with co2? when i first put the battery in, i turned it on and then held down the trigger and heard a click noise.. so i assumed it was ready then.. i just didn't have the air attached or the hopper on.. i tured it off.. i attached the hopper, filled it, attached the air, then opened the valve.. then turned the trigger on and nothing.. just kept blinkin' green..

could be a few different things, when you first turn it on and the light is green, thats because there is a ball in the breach ready to fire, usually, after that ball is fired the eyes have to see that there is nothing in the breach for a split second before the next ball falls in, what the blinking is, is it is trying to fire, and it very well may think its firing, but since it does not see the empty breach for that split second it knows something is wrong. make sure the bolt is back, but from what you have said i dont see any way that it could be stuck forward. look at the manual, and reset both regulators to factory settings as well as the dwell. if none of that works, id suggest take the bolt out and lube it, then try again

o and yes you can dry fire it like your spyder, you just have to turn the eyes off first.

O! heres one more thing, turn the marker on, dont pull the trigger or anything, turn the eyes off and tell me what color the light is and if its blinking.

o and one last thing, since my memory is a bit foggy on this, i have the dm6 which is very similar to your pm6, but one thing im not sure of is, does the pm6 have a on/off valve in the front under the barrel? it almost sounds like that is just turned off.....

Negatory. None of the PM's ever had that on/off, they always just had a flow plug.
