Ok so i just got my first paintball gun(a proto slg) and i took it to the feild and was going to chrono i had my gas in and everything but my gun wouldnt fire the guy tried to fix it and he did everything he could there while i played w/ a rental gun to fix it. the gun would shoot when i dry fired it(which i did alot when i first go it ) it would make the clicking noise once then it would just make a really soft click wen i pulled the trigger. my air tank is way to big/heavy 72ci/300psi an empire b2 and a new feedneck

Edit: the solenoid is clicking, i took the grips off my gun and the solenoid is clicking once but not resetting
does the Proto SLg have a Dwell and if so what is it

well, 1: excessive dry firing is not a good idea. thats not what its made for. when you say it wouldnt fire, exactly what do you mean? sounds to me like you're gun isnt getting air. If the noid is clicking and nothing is happening, that would be my guess. Also, make sure you're using fresh batteries. Yes. that can cause it.

I did check the eyes and they are fine they looked perfectly clean not sure what the wiring is supposed to look like but ive never shot a paintball through the gun so yeh
