update- so it turns out the leak out the back cap and venting out the bolt issue was with the two o rings on the very back of the bolt, but now i have a leak coming from where the rear of the trigger frame screws onto the body, so its obviously in the LPR, I already changed out all 3 o rings on the LPR body, no luck. does anyone know where i can get a LPR body? mine is pretty beat up

AHHHHHH!

so last night i tore through the bolt and replaced every single o ring that is on it, no luck, same with the lpr, no luck, its still leaking like crazy and wont cycle, and now the eyes are having issues that i cant figure out, the led is solid red then it will give me 3 blinks red, manual says blinking red is eyes off but from what i remember that was blinking constantly, no solid for a while.

it is trying to cycle, but it does it wierd, if i continually pull the trigger it will sit there for a bit then try to cycle about 5 times fairly quickly, then sit there for a while longer and do it again, when it trys to cycle the bolt moves about 2mm forward then comes back

wow...too bad you're not around here. I've always found when you get to the point you are, it's best to have someone else look at it, just for the fact of a fresh perspective.

ya im wondering if it is multiple problems now, but i still havnt found a great way to check the air ports running though the marker so i still dont know if that could be doing it, on one hand i want to fix it myself to save the $35 my local shop would charge for doing it(probably not even fixing it in my experience) on the other hand its beed down for a good 2 months and even though im not playing now (theres about a inch of water nomatter where you are around here right now, they are predicting record flooding in the nex few days, and its about 35F, not good paintball weather) i still want it to be working

iv replaced the noid and board, i know its not the hpr it is adjusting correctly, and the noid will start venting pressure if it gets up too high, which leads me to the lpr, i replaced all the o rings but the body itself still has some damage (not a ton, just from when i first got it and was a moron, i cranked the set screws into it a bit) so i am also on the hunt for a new lpr body. beyond that i can only think that it may be caused by something in the air ports through the marker.

by chance does anyone know if the dm7/8/9 use the same lpr as the 6?

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! YES!!!!! ITS FIXED!!!!!!......for now

so i am sorry to say though that i had to search to the evils that are PBN, fortunatly my question was so advanced that it kept the 14yr old kids at bay

so it was a combination of things, first the leak out the back cap was caused by the two o rings on the back of the bolt, the leak out the back cap of the lpr is caused when i replaced all the o rings on the lpr, i replaced them per the manual but that was my problem, the manual is wrong, it says to use 3 size 12 o rings on the outside of the body but really you need to use size 13 o rings. so that was that. the eye issue was caused by the power button and the eye button, i had no idea but they are two different sizes, a casual glance says they are the same size but they are about a milimeter different.

so all the leaks are fixed but i have no idea if my original problem will come back once i get on the field. i will let you guys know, thanks for all the help

Yup, never even occurred to me about the buttons. I had that exact same thing on my PM8.

Im sure if any one of these issues had come up seperatly i would have been able to solve it no problem but all 3 of them hit at once (admitantly the eye button was my fault), ironically now that i have all the o rings replaced, the o ring picks i ordered have arrived......

next purchase is a strap wrench for the hpr, and a gearbag, the backpack i am using to haul 2 markers,a tank, hopper, parts kit, barrel kit, tools, and other misc. dodads and such is getting pretty worn (its held together by duct tape)
