Hey all I have a quick question that hopefully you will be able to provide some insight on. I purchased a medium PM6 rebuild kit from ansgear.com since I needed to replace the the eyes and o-rings. The distributor instead sent me the medium rebuild kit for the PM8 marker, stating that the manufacturer (Dye) told them to update the rebuild kits they had in supply. Are all of the components (eyes, o-rings) from the PM8 functional on the PM6 marker? I would like to know before I open up the box and install the new eyes only to find that they do not work on the PM6 and that I cannot get my money back.

I tried to call dye but it was past hours: 1-858-536-5183 so nobody was able to help me.

Any information that you have on this issue would be much appreciated!

no, pm8 eyes are NOT (drop in no work) compatible with earlier PM's. PM5/6 eyes are identical. O-rings I believe there are fewer sizes for the 8 than the 6, but all sizes used by the 8 are used on the 6 if I'm not mistaken.
