Hi guys and gals, if anyone could help me with this problem you will be my lifesaver. I've had a pmr 07 for over a year (trade with a friend)its been shooting awsome for months, we play just about every other weekend. Now my proto will atempt to shoot and only makes a faded "poof" sound. The bolt shoots out but with hardly any force. I've done tons of troubleshooting to include thurough cleaning and lubing, new bat. etc, any ideas. When i tried to chrono it it keeps jumping around dramaticaly. Can the possibilities be bad solenoid, bad board, or bad regulator?

could be any one of the three but it is not likely. battery is the most common for these issues, make sure you used a good one and may want to try a different good one just to be sure. If you have not rebuilt it yet, and chances are that your friend didnt either its probably time to rebuild it, you can pick up o-ring kits that are marker specific for pretty cheap, Id rebuild it and re-lube it before replacing expensive parts with no guaruntee that they are the problem

o and when you say the chrono is "all over" what do you mean? is it always low but jumping around? are some high and some low?

what i mean about all over it? well when i tried to chrono it getting ready for a 24 hr scenario i found out that it was hard as hell to get a constant speed, i started with the normal setting on the lpr (all the way in then 2 1/2 turns out. I could not get it to be consistent at all, i goes from 280 to 240 then back up and down, sometimes getting in the the lows 180. I had the shop tech take apart the lpr and check all the ring and lub it, still no change. Did the entire rebuild with proto rebuild kit before the posting and still the same. change several bateries, still the same, but i will try it one more time. Now i am noticing if i increase the pressure on the reg a little more it starts leaking really slow, my guess from the noid. I notice the voltage that is stamped on the noid, do you know if thats the voltage that the bat or board is supposed to put out, cause if thats the case mine is bad, only putting out like 2V to the noid with every triger pull.
