No the bolt comes out very easy. You just take the back plug off, then remove the o-ring on the tip of the bolt and push the kit from the front out the back.

It's recomended so you don't pull on the plunger and Break something. I've had my Trix for a while and shot over 20 Cases through it over the past few turneys w/ it. And the ONLY o-ring i havee had leak on me was one on my soda can and it was my fault for accudenrtly chipping it.

Trix's are uber reliable, and arn't hard to take care of at all, the botl assembly is VERY easy to clean and lube, I was scared at first when i saw the pics of them pulled apart, but when u do it for the 1st time, it's VERY simple. It all comes out in 1 peice.

Trix > cocker

Yea I just started using my trix a lot and I'm always hoping it works fine and it always does. I always hear people saying how unreliable they are and how they always mess up. I'm still waiting for that day. Hopefully that day doesn't come.
