trix maintenence and malfunctions?
hey i am goin back and forth about buyin a dye trix, i played with one this past sunday and i loved it, but i am always seeing people at the field with trixs with leaks, velocity problems, etc.
my friend with the dye matrix swears they are great markers if you maintain them, which im startin to beleive since his ripps , but what about the other people i see with markers that are lettin them down? like this past weekend i was gonna try another trix, but it wouldnt shoot worth a damn, the best we could get it shootin was like a 60 fps change per shots, my trix friend says its probably dirty regs, what do you think?
how have yall's experiences with your dye trixs been? what maintenence do you do, do you think i can keep mine rippin if i maintain it?
im lookin at a cobalt dye trix
PBC LPR
clamping low rise
and other stuff i dont remember lol, ill post when i talk to the guy again - but im lookin at gettin that for 650 shipped and the guy has only been used for 4 practices

As long as you lube the bolt after every time u play, clean your lpr every couple cases and it should work great.

I had a lot of problems with mine to begin with but yeah just keep your stuff maintained, I've been told with higher pressure less mantinence but every day after I get home from the field I take out my bolt, lube orings, put back in, take out the front regulator, lube orings and everythings good, easy. Works like a charm too once it's set your great but if your new to the matrix sometimes youwill have problems but you will learn to avoid those problems then.

hey shutta, hit me up on aim. i have a big maintenance/tech guide for trices. its like 20 pages. i cant send it over email cuz the file size is too big. if u want it, i can send it over aim as a file. it has everything u need to know, and will save u from those hours of pain when trying to fix something. it has: how to change pulse settings, bolt stuff, oring stuff, lpr sutff, problem and solution stuff, trigger removal/adjusting stuff, a cool cover page i made, and a bunch more. its too hard to think about it.
