I just got my new 06 gun metal Ego for just under $905! I'm really stoked about it and happy to be a part of the Ego crew. Now I just need familiarize myself with this gun, hehe.

It's better than the regular price. If it is brand new that is. Without a sponsership discount that is good i guess. I would of just spent the extra bit of dough and bought a 07.

It's a brand new 06 Ego. It was the cheapest I found online. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. Any suggestions on how I could have done better?

Oh and yeah, that's a R6 in my avatar.

Have a sponser which gives you discounts on guns. Buy used. I don't really know any websites that have it cheaper than that though. I don't know how he didn't see the r6 logo over the light.

u could get in real good with ur local shop and get um for cost, which right now is really, really cheap. alot less than 905 il tell you that now

Sadly, there aren't too many local shops in my area. I wasn't aware that shops would actually sell these guns for cost now. I've been out of the entire paintball scene for too long I guess.

well they wont sell it for cost to anyone.. you'd have to be very friendly with most of the staff, preferably management.

I'll be shooting this gun soon once I get my new tank this Tuesday. I was wondering if there was any particular paint that was troublesome with the stock 06 Ego barrels.

From what I've been reading, it seems I can shoot just about any paint but I wanted to get a confirmation on whether there were any particular paintballs that I should just completely avoid shooting? Thanks.

yeah, you can easily get an 06' on the nation or ebay for around $700, even $600

I was getting them for that much the day they came out..

Most paint works fine with the stock barrel, as long as it's fresh and not deformed and ****.

you can even get the ion even cheaper, and its way better, it has eyes.and you can change the barrel.
