I've never played in the winter before and I have an etek 4. I've heard I should use a thinner grease on my reg but I'm not too sure. Any advice on what I should be doing to make sure I don't have a big mess on my hands? Thanks.
anything below 40F usually starts to mess with things. Everyone at my field had to upp the dwell on their spool valve guns. I even had to mess with my 07 ego settings in order to get it to shoot. (to be fair,t eh dwell was way too low for normal operation. it shot pretty smooth fro an ego, though)
Doesn't seem that low, my GTi runs at dwell 7.5 ms, and last weekend was running in <40* weather (very odd for phoenix) without a single issue (other than the guy using it forgetting to refill after a couple games and running out of air after his friend specifically told him he should refill).
I had to increase the LPr several turns as well. This confused me, because on my bob long guns, that's an increase of 40-60 psi. The ego must not have that large of a range when it comes to the LPR output.
