Gaming Computer System! Custom! $800

College is upon me and I have no need for an awesome gaming rig...why? Well Senior Military Colleges are a little strict, thus I am selling this system complete and getting a laptop.
First off:
TOWER
Case: Xtreme Gamer Viper Case with front LCD panel that shows info, two 120mm fans, lights, ALL ALUMINUM!!! The whole computer can be picked up by one hand and weighs as much as a heavy laptop. Great for LAN parties. Side window and vents as well. Also has chassis intrusion.
Power Supply: SLI Ready 500 watt. Stainless steel finish.
Motherboard: Intel D865PERL. Supports up to 3.5 Ghz HT P4, 4 GBs of DDR-400 and Dual Channel, RAID, SATA, AGP 8x slot, 5 PCI slots, 8 USB ports.
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0e Ghz w/ Hyper-Threading.
Video Card: BFG Geforce 6600 GT OC. This thing comes from the factory over-clocked! Great video card IMO.
Memory: 2x512 DDR-400 PQI Turbo with Heat Spreaders set-up in Dual Channel Mode. Totals to 1 GB.
Hard Drive: 1 Western Digital RAPTOR 36.7 GB @ 10,000 RPM!!! Get another somewhere and set it up in RAID-0 mode for best performance!
CD-RW/DVD Drive. Black to match case.
Lights inside are red with a little blue light from the video card. Looks awesome at night with the two front viper lights and then the side window lit up.
MONITOR:
Wise-Wing 17" LCD
Has a great brigtness and resolution. No dead pixels as of 8-31-06.
KEYBOARD/MOUSE:
Keyboard is by Microsoft and it has all the standard keys, plus a few web browswer hotkeys and some sound controls. All keys work great. Don't worry, the 'w-a-s-d' keys work flawlessly.
The mouse is also by Microsoft and has two buttons, is optical, and is wireless. It also has a wheel that tilts to the sides and pushes in as well as rolls forward and backwards smoothly.
SOUND SYSTEM:
I have a Logitech 2.1 sound system. It consists of two speakers housings that hole two speakers each, and one subwoofer. This sound system is GREAT, you can hear footsteps in the games from a long ways away, plus everything sounds so realistic!
PROGRAMS/OS:
OS is Windows XP Media Center. No CD is included, but it will be installed and activated.
Programs will include any software needed for speakers, keyboard/mouse, and so forth. I will also put on OFFICE XP.
Everything minus the motherboard is less than a year old! I have been upgrading ever since!

it looks awesome that's for sure. but before i start thinking seriously about buying it from you (i need a new computer soon) I'm going to check up on the internals. It's beena while since I've been computer shopping, and we all know how quickly technology moves.

why ony a 36g hard drive and 1 g memory?
and last but not least (for now anyway) how much would the price drop if the speakers mouse/keyboard were not included?

and also, how much would the monitor cost by itself if you're willing to sell it seprately.

No problem!

Why only a 36 GB HD? To answer this, I'll ask a question of you: Do you know anything about Raptor HDs? They are super fast 10K RPM HDs that can be put in RAID modes. If you were to buy it for the price listed, then I'll go buy another one and put them in RAID-0 mode for you (optimal performance). That will make 74 GBs. Oh, did I mention that they cost about $130 new? That was the main reason I had only bought one.. Shoot, if you want, I could instead add an 80 or 100 or whatever GB HD if you do a lot of videos/pictures..you could save the smaller drive for programs.

Why 1 GB? Honestly, I HAD upgraded to 2GB but needed money to buy parts for my Jeep soon after, and so refunded the 1 GB. The 1 GB that's in it right now is quality though, I assure you. To put the same memory I have in there right now (as in, to upgrade another 1 GB) it would cost about $100.

Price would drop by $50, I DO have someone here in the barracks who was interested in the speakers.

I'm not sure how willing I would be to split this package up...

Hope this helps!

Sorry martix, but at this point I'm looking to sell everything as a whole. If I have the unfortunate circumstance where I need to part out, then I'll let you know about the monitor.

Torch is correct. Shoot, he pretty much spent $400 on hard drives alone Martix, to put it in numbers.
