Why would you get 20 dollars for an account you didn't even pay for?

Legally you cannot sell this account. Jagex has written in their EULA that you signed up for this free account and it still belongs to them but you can use it. Selling it is illegal because you are selling something that doesn't belong to you.

That isn't exactly what it says but thats how it works. There is a way around this, and that is to sell something worth nothing like a piece of paper that comes with a free runescape account.
