what PSI are you running at? it should porbably be put around 300.
lube your regulator, check your PSI, and get back to me.
is it burping? This is when your gun seems like it's going "Full Auto" for a second, then it uncocks. Mostly caused by the pressure in your gun being too high. Set your pressure at about 300psi.
how does it uncock, does it like fire once with good velocity and stay back or does it like go back for a second, then go down?

definately clean and oil your gun. dont forget to oil your valve. do what supafly said...clean and oil your reg, i dont know about the air pressure...my STS eforce seemed happy at around 500. but dont be afraid to try different pressures. also, is your co2 anti siphoned? if not, you may be sporadically or constantly sucking up liquid co2 which will cause pressure inconsastincies and recocking problems.

try these things and get back to us, if it dont cooperate.
