EVO bouncing

Piranha EVO Blue/Black
14" JnJ Ceramic
Boss Blade Trigger
Halo B with Z-code
68/4500 3A Nitro Tank

Latelly my EVO has been bouncing a bit, you know when you pull the trigger once and it fires two or more shots - NOT like when you're out of air and it cycles until empty.

I've checked over everything on this list and only things I've found is sear a little worn. I am using the Boss Blade trig and it SEEMS (not 100% sure) that it only does it when I very very lightly touch the trigger, but it also does it when i'm walking it really fast. I'm guessing this is a hammer/sear contact issue, it shouldn't be possible for the trigger to make it bounce should it? The board always only clicks once when I pull the trigger, lightly or softly.

I've tried moving the reg pressure anywhere from about 50ish(it didn't like that, started cycling like crazy) up to 800 or so and same exact thing. Does it while dry firing AND with paint.

I couldn't use it at our tournament yesterday and eventually thought to change down to the lightest spring i could find, it helped alot, still bounced a tiny bit, but today it's doing it again all the time! This is only a recent thing and I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone have any ideas? I love my EVO and want it working again!

Maybe your hammer lip is wearing out. Bounce is mainly due to alot of force when the marker cycles causing the board to read is as a shot. You trigger may be adjusted so nicely that when the Evo cycles, the trigger will move making some contact with the switch.

id be more inclined to say he needs a new hammer and/or sear. keep messing with it, and if it gets worse, then you know im right.

but dont discount joey's theory, cuz that can happen.

Thank you for the replies, I thought the same thing Joey and I loosend the trigger up alot so there's a good bit of pull on it now and it continues. I'm still thinking it's this sear that's a bit worn, doesn't look too bad but it is a tiny bit chipped or rounded on the edge so maybe it's not catching.

Will PMI replace the sear? The gun is only about 2 months old and they had no problem replacing my regulator gauge when it went bad.

Would it be worth it to cut down this old hammer spring a bit and see if that helps? I'm not having any velocity problems with it as it is and I can always up the pressure a bit if I have to.

Update

Alright, So I got my sear from PMI and installed it, problem persists...

I continued testing and it NEVER bounces when I pull the lower part of the trigger quickly and hold it, always 1 shot - no problem. It only happens when i VERY gently squeeze the trigger, usually the top part of the trigger... SO, I put the original plastic trigger and trigger spring back in, SAME THING.

I know it has to be something with the trigger/board because it depends on how I pull the trigger, but I'm stumped, any ideas at all???

have you replaced the hammer/striker yet? usually when one goes, the other is partialyy or completely gone too.

the only other thing i can think of is maybe you got a loose connection on the board somewhere.

Hammer and striker are fine, as I said it NEVER bounces when I pull the trigger all the way and hold it, it does happen when i softly touch the trigger, the gun's kick causes it to move and the trigger to fire again, what can I do to fix this? I've tried adjusting the top trigger screw all the way in and out but it always does it... I'm going to email RJ and see what he recommends.

open your grip. pop your battery out, and take a screw driver to the terminals. Shorten the board.

Clean your microswitch, it could have paint in it.
Im too lazy to type it all up, look in the manuel.
