CO2 leaking from barrel

I've had my EXT 2k3 for about a year or so, it works quite well. I have only gone paintballing 3 or 4 times and I really enjoy it. Just recently I took out the hammer/bolt system and oiled it and put in the larger spring (for better velocity) now when I hook up my CO2 tank I hear a slow rush of CO2 escaping from the barrel, and my gun won't hold any pressure. What could be causing this?

No I don't know what the volumizer is, is it the little screw off thing with the spring inside, underneath the barrel? If so I already replaced and oiled the O-ring.

you either put the valve in backwards (the thing under the trigger frame, held in by the little brass screw) or, you need a new cup seal (the metal rod with the little round black thingy on the end).
