Pmi G3

well, my old GT BL is wearing out and im thinking of getting a newer gun, maybe a little higher end. im looking at the Piranha STS G3, and xtremepaintball.com has it at lik 97.00. any reviews on this gun? pbreview has them and theres no real complaints other than the barrel, and i have an after market one i can use for that. is it a "newbie" gun? not that i really care what people think, but those tend to be unreliable after a certain amount of time and i'd like this one to last a bit.

if you have another suggestion for a gun i'd like to hear it. i'd like one that will last me a while and be consistant, and be a little higher end, but not to expensive. i'd prefer a blowback as i know how they work, but its not required.

Dont go from a piranha to a piranha. look into the Smart Parts Ion.

Step out of the blowback level, because those markers are all basically the same.

i've thought about the ion, but reviews are mixed to say the least. one problem there is that(according to what i've read) it only takes HPA. seeing as i only have CO2 thats more cost on the end of it. plus i've heard that its complicated to take apart, and i like my gun easily field strippable(is that a word?). the price is in my range though, so its a thought.

why would you buy a fish that is almost 2 years out of date, when a similar fish is available that is up to date for roughly the same price?

that being said...i used to own a stsg3. worked as well as any other blowback. never had any problems with it till i started upgrading heavily. this is a marker you will want to leave stock (except for a barrel or reg, if you really want to get something)

i would go to the online auction site, or the bst thread and look for an evo. After that, maybe a cheap 48/3 tank. You can get the gun for.....oh..... 100-130, and the tank for about 40-50. The evo is very reliable, simple as all fish.
