there's more choices for either under that price or around that price. it's faster than an ion...but obviously cost more.
more ppl will tell you to get an ion...

the omen is a blowback, basically a spyder. listen to dr3xx, go with a b2k4/ promaster/ or even a wrath

I thought omens where electro-pneumatic. All the videos i ahve seen they didn't look blowback.

well it shot damn well ill tell you that much. With the 1.5 board and cam it was a beast.

Well for some reason there is a lot of negative hype towards the Omens. I had 3 Ions and have owned Spyders too. I will tell you that the Omen 2.0's are great guns. They are really underrated. They shoot fast and will soon have a ramping board available through Scenario Dreams, the guys who make the T-Boards. That's really the only thing that the Omen is lacking vs an Ion or Promaster. A lot of people don't like the cams. They use them instead of electronic eyes. I have to tell you I was skeptical at first too. But they work really well. They aren't hard to setup and use, they aren't slow and they aren't built cheap. Stock they don't have to be completely upgraded like the Ions. To make an Ion comparable to the stock Omen you would need to buy a new regulator, on/off and new barrel. The Detonator is rated #2 as far as regs go and is very consistant. The driver barrel is great and pretty accurate. Everyone that has shot my Omen or seen it has been impressed with it and the performance. It keeps up with the Shockers and other high end guns. You won't feel out gunned.

I have 3 of them and I have to say that the lifetime warranty and support is great too. PMI is great about replacing any parts that you need. I haven't had any major problems with them. I did have one take a dive off of a table on to concrete in a gun stand. There was a recock problem after that but PMI repaired it with no problems.

The only other marker I would even consider other than my Omen is the Promaster. It is a decent marker too. But for the long haul the Omen is a great choice.

I bet you could find a PIMP for less than the omen 2.0 and if you don't mind the smaller trigger frame, one of the best electo pneumatic guns out there in my opinion. (very underated.)
