velocity problem

so i could play today and i havent been able to play for like 2 years so i pulled out my little black maxx and my brother got out his victor 2 and when i turned my velocity screw in as far as it could do it still was horrible, i had to take my brother out all the way to get it to where they were similar. could it be my springs? any help is appreciated thanx.

you got it, if a stacked tube blowback gun sits for that long the spring is sure to loose some tention, espeshally if it sits there cocked the whole time. That is also a major reason why i dumped my pirahna for somthing with a noid instead of a spring, but at least i can still answer questions about them,

Just take the spring and stretch it(not too much, just enough to loosen it up/make it longer thus adding tension).

just to let you know though, this isnt a permanent fix, it works for a while but eventually the spring will compress again, personally I would recomend getting a new spring this time since the one thats in there has been sitting there for 2 years and when the new one looses its spring (no pun intended) streach it out since it is more likely to be able to return to its previous state
