barrel (different)
now i have searched and searched and searched so dont flame me and say i didnt do a bad job searching if this has already been posted
what type of threads on the barrels do piranahs use? im getting a g3 as a secondary gun so peopel can use it when they want to but i also want a new barrel cuz supposedly the 9inch barrels suck that they come stock with

Spyder threads and yes, the 9 inch barrels really do suck.

yes, spyder threads.
but heres a funny story, i have an old spyder threaded dye boomstick and it doesnt fit my piranha. very wierd, so i went to my local field and found a guy with a spyder xtra, and it fit it perfectly. i dont know why, but maybe PMI changed their threads in the last couple of years, so make sure to get a new style barrel.

pmi has not changed their barrel threading....maybe the boomy was a little "off". by this i mean that the threading was a slightly different pitch, able to fit spyder, but not pmi. ever notice how some nuts wont fit a bolt of the same size? some metric threading will fit some american threading, but not vice versa.
im feeling disagreeable tonight....so ill tell you that my original 9" is just asd acurate as my teardrop. (its true)

yea, D_Smalls is right, but i think that shorter barrels are pretty ugly and same with long ones, go with at LEAST a 14'' and no more then an 18''

i just got a barrel with spyder threads at a garage sale for 85 cents and on xpaintball they are selling it for $50 dollars my game has greatly improved
