the gti is like 40$ cheaper
the srt has thumbscrew velocity adjustet, flush cocking, and nicer milling i think... thats the difference. oh the srt might have ram air chamber... not sure if thats what it is or not

i know a few ppl (that i play with) that own tessy's about half of them are having problems from crappy internals and such... If you can order it from a local store then go for it, but if you have to order it online think twice. (if this maker is so perfict why doesnt everyone have one?)

no sear trippin blowback is gonna be perfect. well, there are a few good ones out there. what im saying is, all companies that manufacture something is going to have a few bad products. ive heard horror stories about every kind of marker priced from $50 to $1800.....its really luck of the draw. i stand by piranha because they stand by their product, and i have had my share of problems. could you count on your marker maker if your went down?

i'd go with the tes because they have an anti-chop eye system. if you don't want that, the gti is your marker.

im still undecided
i dont think im getting the tes because i dont really need to shoot 15 bps or more, i just play with friends in speedball courses and in the woods. and i keep hearing more and more horror stories.
its either going to be an imagine 04 - green. or a black gti, but **** i hate that trigger and i cant find a dif one

Dont get the SRT, the flush cocking is nothing but a gimmick that not only costs more but is a pain in the ass, if a ball gets pinched which it probably will instead of a chop because the SRT runs at a lower pressure than most blowbacks, you have to degass, uncock, regass, recock. This will end with you getting bunkered in a game because the SRT will let out a loud hiss when you degass and will draw every player on the field toward you when they hear that tell-tale sound. The flush cocking piece is also flimsy, and will break just by the action of the gun firing. Most people who have tried it do not like the SRT, I myself have exchanged it for an Imagine, better trigger, better looks, cheaper, more durable. The trigger on the SRT is impossible to go over the 8-9 bps mark because of its odd shape, and replacements are hard to find. I have heard nothing but distasted for the SRT, mine has been out of action more than not waiting for the damn flush cocking rod replaccements.

my buddy has a TES, overall it is a good gun.
Sear was out of adjustment out of box, and there is no way to adjust it yourself. ( took a month to get back)
He also has issues with dark or translucent shelled balls. the eye kinda freaks out.
I like the gun alot, and the eye can be turned off. Stock barrel seems decent too.
I would not buy one for my only marker but I would still buy one.
