Steel Hose Installation
I'm installing a foregrip for my vtl. When I try to screw the 90 degree elbow to the steel hose, it goes about halfway in then stops. I was going to try using a wrench to screw it in the rest of the way, but I wanted to make sure that I was doing it right. Should it stop screwing in halfway? Will using a wrench damage the threads? Also, do I need to locktite the threads?

use teflon on the threads, and use a wrench to screw the thing in as far as possible. less chance of leakage.

you know how theres threads? on the fitting and on the reg/gas through. just like a bottle cap goes on nicely when you screw it on straight, but if you screw it on side ways it wont go all the way it and it will leak water, same thing with this.

my one at first on m gti was only about halfway in, and was fine, i even took off the elbow to just screw the hose directly into the grip, and it fit to (if your wondering, it was so my drop would fit.).
