I'm thinking of getting an evil-omen.

It says that the omen has a Cam operated force feed-

is this mean that the gun has PDS/eyes???

what's that mean and could i get some feedback on the gun? Thanks

The camfeed is an awesome feeding system. It eliminates all chops when the omen is set up properly. its not vision, but its a feedneck with a mechanism in it which lets balls get pushed into the chamber when the bolt is out of the way.

omens are awesome, get one, set it up right, and RIPPPP away

Omen's have their issues if not set-up properly. However if they are, they are very, very sweet markers. The Cam operated system is not a eye system. It is mechanically set and works after you fire a paintball. It eliminates all chopping, and IMHO is worth every damn penny.

I asked the question about walking the trigger, i went to pb nation and stuff.. they said you could. but all they kept talking about was the new evil chip that just came out capped at 30 bps around? and that things like 150 dollars.

I was wondering, if i just take the omen right out of the box, tune up the pressure. etc crap.... how fast will that be able to go....

and is the gun loud?? haha thanks

It is capped at 15 bps. I don't think the chip is 150 bux, maybe a board but not a chip.

I am not quite sure on how quiet the marker is, never been around one before.

wow im actaully posting in here...

but yeah. test it out.. and if you dont think you can properlly maintain something mechanical, then dont consider. the Omen needs to be tuned properlly to play and usually needs to be checked/done often to keep it working nice.

stock its capped at 15 bps.

after market boards get her to 25-30.. or at least marketed as that high

the evil detonator reg, once broken in, is amazing.

the barrel is basically an evil driver, or single piece evil pipe

open bolt.

cam feed. all mechanical.. two leave things.. one holds the ball up outta the way.. the other slides the ball in only when the bolt it out of the way.. means no chops when tuned right.

the feed is off set.. that means clear few down the top of the marker.. but wider profile on the right side..

sick as hell look. i think they are beautiful (for a marker

)

Sorry man. I have my own hopper and tank first of all, and secondly. I'm waiting for someone to buy my ANS GX-4 first so i get the jack to get the omen. If you know anyone wants it. real cheap. 280 . price for the gun and barrel

wow.. this forum is such a relief.. evil is bashed everywhere else on this site.. the new evil board is 54 bucks and is adjustable from 5-25 bps. i believe there is also a debounce and sensitivity thing on it too.. go to pbnation and search.. there are tons of threads on it. and if you take the gun out of the box, this isnt in the manual but is a good idea.. fire 4000 dry fires to break in the det. EVIL RULES!

evil isnt that good... this is just the evil/pmi forum full of hypacrits that wont admit that they spent there money on evil markers when they could have gotten much better products for the exact same amount of money.

when i had my piranha i told everyone its an awesome marker, and that i shoot straight ropes with it, but inside i hated it. same with my impulse, it was good, shot really nice, very accurate, but it didnt feel right in my hands.
so i got a different gun... its not big deal, just admit it that evil products arent too good... they're a mid end company, making mid end products. they're paint is good though, i love it

and crazycupcake, what other gun do you compare to the omen/pimp for the same price?

EDIT: yes the omen is walkable.....my trig is under 1mm pull and supersensitive......alot of timmy owners at my field like it

as for pimps, i never shot one with a decent hopper, i used a gravity when i shot it. i felt alright, shot well, but then like last week my buddy bought one and it broke hardcore, and he has to send it into evil because no pb shop will touch those markers...

you must have forgotten aobut the pimp shot a couple of those out at my field i play and and damn those things are nice
my timmy is betta

but there nicer then alot of other guns
