My friends and I just built a new field (I'll post some pictures later). It is about 10 acres, mostly of trees, but also a creek and a clearing that offers a great diversity of terrain. Along with the many natural bunkers, we built some more out of fallen logs and some scrap wood. I gotta say, the place looks pretty great!

Now we are looking for a few games to spice things up. We have been playing the standard "kill everyone on the other team" and capture the flag. We also have been playing a game where you must lead a hostage across the field to a base, protecting him from opponent fire. What are some other games or scenarios that would be fun? We usually have about 14 players. Sometimes we have as many as 20 and as few as 6.

"The card game" (found in a copy of APG magazine)

Take a pack of playing cards and have a ref (or someone not playing) staple the cards to random trees. Everybody (preferrably 5 or less) starts out in a huge circle (marked out by tape). At "GO" everyone runs inward and collects as many cards as they can, while trying to get other people out. You stop collecting when you are shot out, or when you run back across the line. Afterwards you all try to play the best poker hand. The person with the best hand wins.

*You can use more than one deck if you have more people*
