reballs? your field uses reballs? Wow. Just out of curiosity, what is the FPS set to?
We play at 240. Its really sweet how they do that. I also play at 3 other paintball fields. But reball has to be the best imo. I just can't stand the cheaters.
Liberty in Patterson NY changed there prices now so their reasonable - used to be 99$ a case, $25 admission for renting, $15-20 with own stuff. $10 all air nitro
I play in michigan and it's only 40 bucks a case and thats the only fee, unless you get Co2 then it's $2 per fill. enterence is free. if you rent it's 5 bucks for piranha evos or 10 bucks for ions.
actually, at op it's only $60 for some op custom... (thick fill, and thin shell... (really nice quality for custom paint) - but with orlando paintball's custom design on the shell...) and the entry fee is like $12 for all day (even though they say there are sessions, they just mean times between where the refs have a chance to take a break, so there is not any playing during the break. but after the 'session' you can continue to play as long as you can until you run out of paint/money lol) with $10 all day air... i believe rental is $15 if you need to, but i dont ever rent so i dont remember...
there is fpo on most days but on wednesdays (and a day on the weekends but i'm not sure exactly what day) it's $5 for byop... they host a tourney every wednesday - and prizes include $50 purse and free entry next week for first place, a box of pro paint (teams choice) for second and i'm not sure but i think they get free entry for next week as well... then for third the whole team gets some barrel condoms or something.
also considering the owner is irritating and canadian the refs are really great, they're knowledgeable and fun! (by the way, the owner lives in canada, so he's almost always there) a lot of time, even between games, you're having fun joking around with them and if you're willing to listen, you learn things that even more seasoned players didn't know - that's if you're willing to listen... the refs are kindof stiff on rules but it's just for safety, i understand that. and also a plus is that the (airball) fields get changed every week, so you never get tired of them!
there are two airball fields, and two corrugated fields by those... both the corrugated and airball fields are outside and have stadium lighting so you can play at night. then a few indoor warehouses with a netted balcony for viewing and two story play for people who like that kind of thing - so you can play during the rain and there is lighting so you can play at night as well... it's got a full shop and plenty of things to buy, but many of the things are a few dollars over-priced, if you order things online you usually come to about the same with shipping anyway - and more expensive things often are a little cheaper than they would usually cost... (like markers and boards)
every once in a while you'll find a good deal on equipment - but dont count on it... all in all, op is really a great field to go to, it has it's drawbacks such as i wouldn't trust anybody there to work on my gun alone, and one of the corrugated fields used to be a highway, so under the dirt a few inches is a little gravel every once in a while, so sliding can be a hazzard - but usually newer players go there so they dont slide anyway... but they always have things you'll need for your marker and they'll help you get what you need to get out and playing as soon as possible! (for free usually if they can like lube or allen keys) la de da...
so yea - some people say it's over priced for what it has, and sometimes it is - but look at what other people have to go through, this field is amazing!
dont get me started on hypersports, that field is soo cheap and the shop is amazing! and it's got a self fill station and everything... i would be there every day if it wasn't so far away... (the ref's there are awesome too, and pro's go out there to practice a lot, so you're constantly learning - but if i remember there is a chubby ref who is a real cocky guy and will ruin the experience if you give him the chance) but this is about 'bad' fields, not 'amazing' fields. and i had to put in my two cents about someone saying op was on that list of the bad...
correct me if i'm wrong about any of that - it's been over a week since i've been to op...
