Netting Help
so i have this HUGE front yard, perfect for making a paitnball field on.
Nice grass and big enough for a nice 3-5 man field
I'm not asking about bunkers
I want to know about where i could get the netting that all those outdoor and indoor fields have!!!! I cant let balls escaping the lawn cause theyll get into the road and break peoples windshields and stuff (if thats possible). But if you mess up someones car where i live, your paying atleat 100,000 (not litteraly but yeah alot).
So, what type of net is it?
how do you hold it up?
where can i get it?
and how much would it cost? (by foot or meter or w/e its measured in)
thanks for w/e information you can give me

You have to dig big ****ing holes and bury posts. Take cable across the top and bottom of the posts. Get clips and connect the net to the top and bottom cables.

well... you do have to dig holes and put up posts, or something semi tall to hold up the net... you really only need it a little more than tall enough for you to shoot decent, and walk under it, so it doesnt need to be like 100 feet in the air...

tom's good freidn just set up his own field and netting is one of teh costliest things when it comes to setting up a field
have to buy at least 15ft tall netting, and tons of it
about 30 telephone poles
have to pay a guy to come out with a post hole digger and dig all the holes
have to cement the posts in
have to buy tons of wiring and stuff
have to pay mexicans to come out and set all the netting up
and you just cant set up a field in your front yard
you have to go and get the community to vote on it to approve it and such

i'd have the mexicans do everything.... minus getting the community to vote on it, because if that were the case i dont think it'd pass....
i kinda expected it would be expensive, but hey... at least i was giving the kid some hope.... kind of

how about fishing or mosquito nets? I'm pretty sure their cheaper solutions some were, as far the poles and cable that wouldn't be so hard imo.

are your parents letting you do this? and if they are will the town approve it? refer to the guns as paintball "markers" not guns if you have to take it up with the town

fishing nets have holes about an inch and a half square down to about a half inch square... last time i checked paintballs were smaller than these holes meaning they would go through...
also, how do you plan on going about lifting telephone poles? come back when you have a solution, and it better have nothing to do with a green giant with purple pants..

I've put up many of an acre of fencing, holes dug by hand, its some hard work believe me, but yes you are right I haven't set up an field so I don't have the right to say its easy so I'm sorry. As for the fishing net I wasn't really sure I've seen some smaller ones all I was doing was throwing some ideas out and I get shot down for it.

Not sure if this was directed at me but you can use a tractor before you say it can't be done, well guess what it can cause we put up a 24 foot pole using it.
