-Deffinitly get some cheaper rentals, most rental groups wont like spending that much. The field i work at will rent a basic(tippmann) setup for $5 and a higher end one(ion and revvies) for $20.

-In my opinion, cleanliness is very important for a field in the staging areas, store, and field. Most first timers expect a field to be cleaner then most are. For some reason ive only seen a couple halfway decently clean bathrooms at any of the fields ive been to, id make that a priority.
NOT 500...MOST LIKELY 350.

Massachusetts is not an option currently, it will either be Salt Lake City, UT or Western Washington(somewhere between Lacey and Seattle). However, I do not intend to have one location. I am at the point where I am starting to work on my expansion plan. Plus, Boston is where all my bloodlines run through...so Mass is a strong possibility for a second or third location. But I will keep you guys in mind....you don't know how much the feedback means to me. I can't do any of this unless I know the market can support it

Not to mention if a field becomes a successful and steady business, my parent company is going to move forward in producing paintballs so I don't have to go through wholesalers. Design faze is over(and it is golden...primo), we are now going into testing sometime next year.

By the way, for all you guys who are wanting to own a field someday, my "soft launch" calculations are at about 50-60K. My intentions are to franchise this business plan if I can make it work so that all those who want the opportunity will have a solid path to walk. Also, I want websites and pictures of the fields you guys play, I need that kind of info to see what I am up against.

heres the 1 i usually play at www.planetpaintball.com I stopped cuz there service sucks and i hate the new workers. All the new guys dont know crap about paintball. Last time i was there i got charged the rate of a 20oz for my 3000psi tank cuz the person at the register didnt know the diff. They do have 2 or 3 good workers but they probably quick because of the new guys. They now make u buy new paint every time you go so u cant buy a case and save the rest for the next time. Plus they charge 65.00 for a case that cost 35.00 anywhere else. They almost never have avalible reffs and the bunkers deflate like ever 20 mins. so ur competion in the Lawrence area is pretty sad and theres no other played within a half hour of it. Boston tho might give sum competion. Theres a lot of paintball places and boston but after reading wut u said in ur first post i think a ton of people will be at ur field. 1 place thats a pretty massive field u might wanna not go near is canobie. They have tons of fields and hold different events every once in a while. I would definatley check out getting a location in Mass. We need fields with good prices that people can afford. Like me a 13 year old whos parents give them zilch for paintball.

Edit- http://www.pbreview.com/fields/23/ i would check out sum of the other fields around when choosing a location so u know ur field will get the best business it can. You can also check out reviews on other fields to learn more about mass fields and most of the fields there include a site link

Btw if u open a field in mass thats not to far from where i am u'll be my idol and ill reff if u need me

put one in central/ northern pa that is the place to be. if i had the money and you where close i would pay 250+ for that deal

check out 1 shot paintball
the site isnt really true it is made for when the guy (we call him pappy) finishes it but right now on the weekends its 15 $ entry fee BYOP and unlimited air all day but he only has 3 fields and only 1 usually inflated 1 is a rec field the place isnt the best but its a field and u cant beat the price

I already have a spot picked out for u if u come to PA im sure that new enterprise would sell u this old rock quarry right along a desent road paintball shop on top of a hill less then 1/4 mile away. alot of local people play there already but i dont think they have permission.

but for real it is like 1 hour outside of State college.. PSU and that town is really rich (our town.....not so much)

And WE HAVE A BIG LAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woot woot
