Ok I have a question for field owners about their cost of paint. Why is field paint SO expensive??

I know you are selling it at a higher price to make money and to pay the bills but if you kept it $5 or so above the retail price it would seem to me that you would attract more players so make more money. I mean you would have more field fees, air refills and people buying food and other supplies at your shop.


Now before you say I don't know what I am talking about, I am not a kid, I am a 37yr old Retail Manager.

To me it seems that you would attract and keep more players with a fair price. I see here in the pittsburgh area price ranges for field paint from a low of $35/case at a outdoor field to $80/case at Three rivers paintball which is a outdoor field.

I know I would play at fields alot more instead of in a friends woods if i could get paint at a reasonable cost...I only play at fields on BYOP days, same for indoors.

Money is made in the paint, not entry fees. Our field doesn't charge a huge ammount, we charge the retail price. But the money at fields is made in paint, some charge more than others.
