I am working w/ a group to design a indoor paintball city. It will have multi level buildings, old cars and other city effects. The design is based on an IRAQ combat town used for the marines and army. Anyone know of anything else like it or have any pointers, let me know.
That place sucks I just read about a 100 threads with nothing but bad stuff to say about it. It does sound like it does have potential theo. We plan on having dirt floors or pads (but then you couldn't slide) It won't be dark at all and we plan on having it set up so that you can have your own music played or have sound effects like machine guns and explosions. We are trying to create new seneraios other than capture the flag or kill all. The one down side we are having is it won't be a good place to speed ball.

The no speedball thing isnt necessarily a bad thing. There are quite a few ballers that prefer scenario type events. Sounds like a good idea, though I wouldnt say a "New" idea. If you build it, they will come

dood the sound effect idea sounds awesome! cool scenario games to play besides capture the flag and kill all would be like a hostage rescue mission or like a reconassance mission or something cool like that. see if u can get some heavy duty modded tippmann to look like a machine gun and have people pay to rent it and have it set up somewhere on a building or something. i would also recomend getting sandbags. i got the plastic ones really cheap off of esandbags.com (maybe e-sandbags.com??) and it takes about 40 sandbags to make a bunker.

sounds like a blast, i would totally go there to play, no matter where it is, lol, i agree that the sound effects would be awesome, some gametypes that would be cool: like an escort mission like escorting a prisoner through the city to your base, or stuff like that. Or have like vip, a rally or presidential speech, and have people protecting him, while the other team tries to snipe, kidnap, kill him, etc.
hey they also make...forgot the link but paintball sentries, its this robot with two modded a-5's on it with canister mounted to feed paint and a camera and remote to controll it. Thought it was a pretty cool invention, its about 2g's, they also make a convereted a-5 browining too.
