well side vs side is like l vs l. the ls representing the basic start point and movement of players, to converge in the straight middle. U vs U would be like the sides start as a half circle kinda movement and attack from more of a 360 degree battle.

Looks like fun to me. I like 360* battles. Nothing like having to cover all your angles and still worry about being flanked and such. I really hate the line vs. line type advance and camp type thing (such as speedball). I was born a woodsball player and I will always love the woods/rec fields more then the balloons.
