Sandball. Me and my friends play out in an area where it's pretty barren, there are gullies and ridges abound, but our field is just a big flat sandy field with about 50 5 foot high, 8 foot diameter grassy mounds where the owner just dumped some soil once upon a time. Works great for any kind of elimination match. You just have to be careful not to get sand in your gun; it really sucks.

I think that "Sandball" would be pretty fun. You should just maybe put a plastic bag over your gun. Same thing for when it is raining. Just cut holes in a garbage bag or something. I dunno

What is it called when you just play in your backyard with all man-made bunkers?

ok here ill help you guys out since you guys left out some types of games
Rec-Ball- this is what prolly all of you guys have/still do play, this is where you just go to a field and there are manmade bunkers and natural fields, they play games like, football, ctf, elimination and so one
Scenario(ROFL idk how to spell) This is where you have the buildings and have games like, rescue the hosties, plant the bomb, invade the city and so on, lots of sitting around involved.
hope this helps

Construction sites, freight yards, and vacant lots filled with junk make great paintball courses... just make sure that nobody's around when you do it unless you and your friends enjoy running from police

I agree that fighting in a city-type enviornment is extremely fun. It's all about tactics. What we did was we talked to some house builders and said that we would clean up all the paint on the frames, and played in those. No rugs, no glass, nothing. Just frames with floors, stairs, etc. Very fun. We basically had a woodsball/special-tact-ball game. One team started about 1/2 a mile away, and the other team started inside. Then you had about 5 or 10 minutes to set up, for example, setting up ambush points, etc. All about communication and tactics. AWESOME! One of the best ways to play if you can find someplace. Also, don't get a fast firing gun, or one that gives off too much gas, people will find you. Get a gun that is comfortable, real light (for moving around FAST), and can be fired in a split second. I almost got out because I kept my friend's 98 on safety, and a kid with an ion almost ripped me apart, but I finally got the jam on the safety fixed and hid, then hit him right in the facemask.

What about a ghetto field where you take over your sisters horse arena and decide its more worthy for paintballing and make a bunch of bunkers out of wood that you make in your garage? Its a pretty tiny field. But me and my friends live 2 and a half hours away from any arena so we decided we might as well make something to get us by. Any ideas on what else to use for it other then wood and 50 gallon drums?? If so just send me a message.

I agree. Never played, but I've seen videos of woodsballing and I just couldn't think of playing on an asphalt field with rubber tubing for bunkers.
