I don't know if anybody else has come up with this, but why not make a field that has in the center of the field a big urban environment, and none of those crappy a$$ plywood-in-the-shape-of-a-house type, but near acutal houses with real rooms, doors, windows (with the glass knocked out), and general furniture (like old beds, tables knocked on their side, etc.). That way, you can have some of the action guys in military exercises get. Then, you could have assorted defenses outside the city with bunkers, pillboxes, trenches, whatever. That would be the ultimate in a scenario game, like some WW2 recreation thingy. What do you guys think?

It'd be pretty sweet if you could get it set up. Sounds like a lot of money though, unless you took your time doing the junkyard and garage sale thing.

Yeah, that's one of the issues, but say you get a big company (NPS, for instance) to sponsor it? That would cut back the expenses from your pocket, and take it from theirs

And I imagine that the prople who would show up and pay for playing there would negate the expense pretty quick...

BTW, does anyone know of a place close to what I mentioned somewhere along the Northwest part of the U.S.? I would die and go to heaven, then resurrect and actually get some play time in!

or it could be a SWAT scenario where the SWAT team which is blue has to get the flag from the terrorist or criminal team which is red and bring it to the SWAT base...

There's millions of scenarios people could dream up for a field like that. One I would particularly enjoy would be labeling the town 'Stalingrad' and have an attacking German army take 'Red Square' and other objectives inside the city while a desperate Russian army sends human waves to buy time for reinforcements to arrive.

Everyone can dream up these things but you'd have to have a ton of extra cash. I would have like WWII pillboxes with germans firing down at a bunch of attacking americans(recreate omaha beach landing). And for the S.W.A.T. mission that bushmasterman was thinking of, instead of capturing a flag they should rescue a hostage.

sounds cool, wish ya could just walk outside and make it huh? bummer maybe if ya had a bunch of people pitch in like funds(fundraisers), labor and supplies. Hell i'd help.
