What gives? Everyone who likes speedball likes woodsball. Everyone who likes woodsball hates speedball. Why? Without woodsball speedball wouldn't have existed. And hey woodsballers, speedball is MUCH harder then woodsball.

This argument pisses me off more then the spyder vs tippmann argument. People are biased. In the gaming world, we call this being a fanboy. "Oh look at me I have an xbox. PS2 sucks".

This is tearing paintball apart. Woodsballers get based for liking milsim stuff and its wrong. And the woodsballers are always pissing on speedball and saying how it takes no skill to play.

What the hell. WE're all paintballers here. WHY? WHY do you not like speedball? WHY do you not like woodsball? I just dont get it. Isn't it possible to like both?

It's all personal preference. Everyone has a different opinion. You just gotta accept it.

i dont like woodsball because is less exciting and challenging, besides, how can you be looking good when your laying next to a tree in a ghillue suit? you cant.

Paintball isnt all about looking good^^ but I havent played woodsball yet. I wanna play soon tho

I like woodsball because its cheaper and the are no regulations that diss my RT. Speedball though is better because there is no underbrush to mess up your shot. So to get the best of both worlds I will be opening my own paintball field in 15 months when I get out of the navy. I think I am gonna make a thread about my plans for it in the proper forum.

i played woods for 1 1/2 years and it taught me a lot and i've gained a lot of expiereience from playing it. But all it really did was set me up for speedball and i'll always have a woodsball background and i dont hate woodsball it was fun when i played it, it just doesnt give me the adrenaline rush that makes me love the sport

i like paintball i really dont have a preference on what type of game im playing

i end up playing woodsball more often just bc of the woodsball field i have in my backyard lol.

off topic but about the gaming thing i also hate how people do that

Woodsball in thick brush is GAH (Geh ass hell) because it truly isn't based on skill. It's based on who's more willing to waste their time not moving for hours after hours. There's no actual paintball skill used. You might as well just play flashlight tag if you wanna play like that. Speedball is twenty times better, it just costs more, has regulations, and you get shot a lot more.

i love woodsball nothin better than havin a 6v6 king of the hill (like on the video games where a team must control the area for a certain amount of time) but i still like speedball too, i like woodsball more cuz there is nothing better than bein in the woods, its like my second home

i can't play woodsball because it to slow for me, speedball is much beter faster and easier to film.

speed ball owns woods ball, there is no comparison, its basicly what would you rather do, walk 2 miles to get to bunker/flank someone? or get in a firefight right of the break?

Speed ball has more action, and it is harder to play, you have to have a good technique with controling the bunker, keeping the lanes closeds and stuff like that

Speedball is harder. I like the military. I adore guns. Therefore I like milsim (not armotech ugh..)I like the woods.

Why is it that if you like speedball you have to hate woodsball and vice versa?

You all missed the true question here. Why all teh hate? Isn't it vaguely possible to like both?

Andlooking good? I dont like to wear brighly colored clothes when I'm walking around my city. But I like to wear my Empire Jersey when I speedball. I think it looks good. But theres nothing cooler then throwing on my old Cammies and smelling that hot leather smell. I like that.

woodsball is more tense and suspensful, waiting for people to attack and in war, simulates forest fights. Nothing is more rewarding than hiding for 15 minutes then coming up behind a noob and shooting them in the butt.

speedball is more action packed and exciting and in war simulates city fights.

I prefer woodsball but also love speedball.

don't you realize that paintball is trying to get away from the war games attitude?

i'm all for speedball, but it's always fun to school some newbs in the woods.

Same with me except I played it for alot longer, I still like it, but not as much as speedball.
