My field (pics added!)

Well, I finaly finished my paintball field. I had a friend come over and help me out. We broke most of the branches off of the trees. (as not to let the paintballs randomly explode) After we were satisfied with the branches, we felt like bunkers. We ran over to Home Depot, and bought: 4'x16' of canvas, 100ft of twisted poly rope, a set of gromets, and eight 8" screw nut thing . (I dont remember what they were called, they hold the nuts [u know, the screw things]) We got home, and set everything down. We cut the canvas into four 4' x 4' "bunkers" we then put the gomets into four corners of the canvases. Off to our back woods we went. I held the bunkers up, as my friend pounded the screw nut things into the ground (through the gromets). We then did a double hitch in a part of the rope, and wrapped it around a tree, and tied it back to the begining part. I then stuck a nail in the tree below the rope, so it wouldn't slide, and another infront of the knot, again so that wouldnt slide. In all, we started at 10:00 AM and ended at 4:30 PM, which is about six hours. This includes figureing out how to make the bunkers and what to make them with, and it cost us about $52.

Condenced version: Friend and I made paintball field, and I posted how we made it.

I'll take pictures of it tomorow, and try to post them for you guys.

The great thing with my bunkers: The balls dont break. They just bounce off I even took the balls that bounced off and shot them again, and nothing happened to them, except for them bouncing off again! It's kinda cool to see

The bunkers are right up to the ground, and believe me, I tried to shoot under it. It wont work.

it doesnt seem liek those canvasa bunkers provide much protection and they seem kind of flimsy.
