I got some pallets today. Good size, like 4 by 3. Only thing is they have spaces between the boards. =[ I was wondering what I should use to cover the spaces up?

You could knock some of the boards off the others one's to use, or buy a few tarps to cover them up.

I would put just put cardboard on the side that is most likely not going to be hit so that it stops the splatter. But I would only do this if the space inbetween isnt very big.

there are boards everyother sum odd inches
so just knock them off and nail them on the other side in between the original boards so they make a flat surface... pretty idiot proof

plywood. take a sheet of really thin playwood and nail it to it.
