thats pretty cool , id like to some how make a speedball field.. anyways, for both woodsball and speedball, i would make the bunkers out of wood, u could just use sheets of wood or actually put them all together to give the bunker more of a 3d look like a box get it?
BTW you could always get creative, and put holes in the bunkers for ur barrels to shoot, make new/different shaped bunkers, it would be fun, post pics

go to every store who sells tires, and ask if you can take all of their old tires there not gonna use.
Since they normally have to pay money to get rid of them, they will gladly give you as many as you can take.

whenever you get a case or a 1000rd box of paintballs, or anything besides a plastic bag, duct tape it to other boxes and youve got a bunker. next time you get paint don't throw the box away. after you save up 4 or 5 you will have a nice size bunker. when i play in my back yard i have a hefty supply of bricks for supporting all the bunkers so if you have something small and heavy like a brick you can use for support it will work.

HERES THE PLAN, The bunkers so far are made out of wood, tires, and barrels. Still could use some suggestions on layout though. The center bunker will be circular made of above ground pool wall up to chest hight then plexy glass up to 7 feet were there will be the flag. inside the circle a ref will stand. also a ref on a step stool off to the side. it will have a snake on one side and the staging area on the other. its all kinda confusing but ill post pics when its done. It will be really fast/hard games w/ 7 or 5 guys. We've already started building it and when its done in a couple days ill start on the woods feild . ill post later w/ pics

use sand bags....is there a construction site near u
when i made a feild we used scrap and sandbags from a Construction site (u wont belive what u will find) and we tore the roofing sheets of an old horse stable. Also, dig Holes Right by the Bunkers, so that if u kneed in them, u are protected more.
Also, it would be cool if u dug two trenches right across from each other (20-30 yeards apart, 5 yeards wide, a 4 feet deep, take some time but would be great)

Construction site is a good place really. Maybe you can score some of that giant tubing. At the least I see some lumber coming out of it.
And after the holiday that snowman should be about 10$.

If your thinking of the same ones that the Wal~mart that I work at sell, then they will never last. When we were setting up for the christmas display we used a few of those, you plug them into a wall and a small fan blows them up, but you have to keep them plugged in/blowing or they will deflate in a matter of seconds. And also they are very thin, and would be likely to break after 1 or 2 shots. I'd suggest using air matresses, or tarps over these.

Have you tried using them yet? And how are you going to get power to them, having cords all over the place would be easy to trip on lol

damn i was in a hurry when i typed that and i forgo to add the key step in making cardboard bunkers. after you have taped all your empty paint boxes together and you have it at a good size, take some plastic grocery bags (if you buy paint at walmart they will probablly put it in a bag for you) and duct tape that around the cardboard so there is none of the box(es) showing. you can cut the bags to make them fit tighter around the corners. make sure you tape the top, bottom, and sides of the bags everywhere you want them to cover the box, otherwise they could be blown up by the wind and expose it to weather, which would compromise your box. the tighter you can make the bags fit around the boxes, the better it will be and longer it will last, but don't stretch it. by tight i mean not having half the bag covering the cardboard decently and the other half wadded up sticking out of the box. i have done this and my paintball boxes that are 2 months old are still holding up.
