I have a two acre backyard and on a small part my cousin and I are going to make a field tommorow. We have wooden boards and such, what else can we use and how do we map everything out? thanks.
Anything you can get. I got all the crap for my field dumpster diving. As for tires, ask your parents to give you their tires when they change them on their cars or just go to a tire station. Most Home Depots or Ace Hardwares have sandbags. Those work great.
Another important thing is just don't lay down some tires. Make the field solid so it will last. Don't just throw some bunkers together. Pack the sides/bottom with dirt. What's the point of making something if it won't last?
A buddy I went to high school with made a paintball field here in Hampton Roads, that actually a paintball shop rents out to take people to. Its filled with Wire Spools, like for powerlines and underground wires, there must be a hundred of them out. Standing up they are probally a good 7 FT tall. Also has a bunch of old cars.
Location: A part of Michigan that does not have a StarBucks. UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE A WALMART!

I went to an Oil Station by my house and they actually delivered 5 55 Gallon Steel Drums to my house that day. They also let us borrow the Johnson Oil Truck to go and pick up tires and supplies then return it later.
I am pretty sure being really good friends with the owner had no effect on this...(ehhh)
