How to tune your Quest

Step 1: Turn your HPA in about 3 turns past flush on the bottom of the regulator housing.

Step 2: Turn the LPR in until the marker begins to fire then stop shooting,

Step 3: Turn the LPR in a half to a quarter turn more.

Step 4: Take the GUn to the chrono. Just change the HPR to affect velocity.

Step 5: Once again, go "gat gat gat" and shoot some newblets.

Taking care of your QUEST

Make sure to wipe the dow 55 off your bolt after every day of play, and put new dow 55 on it. If there is a leak check the outer bolt o-rings first, and then move onto the pin o-rings. If leaking persists, make sure the LPR isnt set too high, and also the solenoid is ok. After a few days of play, take apart you HPR and LPR and reclean the pistons.

Modes on your board

-Demonstration mode: Allows the gun to be fired with out paint. It should not be used to fire paint because there is a very good chance the gun will chop. If this mode is on the LED should be solid blue.

-Anti bolt stick: Adds additional dwell time. It increases the dwell for the first couple of shots after the gun has been not used for more than 15 seconds. This helps keep first shot drop off to a minimum.

-Anti-mechanical bounce: Helps adjust the bounciness of a gun, so extra shots are not added to the gun when firing.

-Loader Delay: Adjusts the amount of time the eyes will read a ball before firing the gun. Useful for adjusting the gun to the hopper.

-Dwell: The amount of time the solenoid is open during each marker cycle. The default setting is 8 in the gun stock, but can be adjusted to prevent drop off and such stuff as that.

-Max rate of fire: How fast the gun can go. Settings are from 1 - 10. Here is a little thing to help adjust your MROF:

setting 1: uncapped
2: 14
3: 15
4: 16
5: 17
6: 18
7: 19
8: 20
9: 21
10: 22

-Firing modes:

Setting 1: Semi auto
Setting 2: PSP mode
Setting 3: NXL mode
Setting 5-20: This sets the ramping. For example, if you set it to 10, this means you have to pull the trigger at least 10 times per second to keep the ramping up.

Stock settings and LED colors:

Red: Dwell, stock setting is 8.
White: Anti-mechanical bounce. Stock is 2
Blue: Trigger sensitivity. Stock is 10
Green: Loader delay. Stock is 1
Teal: Anti bolt stick. Stock is 7ms
Purple: Max ate of fire. Stock is 1
Yellow: Firing mode. Stock is 1.

Warning!!! Make sure you battery is installed correctly! Make sure the battery is placed in properly other wise the battery may put pressure on your on/off switch and cause it to bend or not work. Make sure the battery is placed along the side of the grip frame that runs closest to the trigger!

Me nor any one else on PBF is responsible for any damage to your gun that is caused by taking our advice.

This is also a good place to post small questions that might not need a whole new thread. Also if any info i have is wrong let me know or tell me if any thing should be added.

Bold means wrong.

The stock barrel was .690, but people complained ti was too small so they started making them stock with .696

Also the Dow 55 was a typo. They recommend Hater Sauce to be used with their marker.

I would also be specific as to which board you are talking about, the stock board has changed 3 times.
