The bolt designs are EXACTLY the same. A pm8 is just a milled pm7 with the new LPR, ul frame stock, and the self cleaning eyes. A PM7 is JUST a milled down pm6. Really and truthfully there are no differences that you can tell when shooting between the M7 and the M6.

I was just reading off the DM/PM comparison chart. Notice I said "estimated". Do I believe that chart? Not really, it says my PMR should get 1300 off a 68/45. It is tuned to perfection and is only getting like 600 at best. You have to remember that all guns are different, even in between the same makes.

Unless you did some heavy internal modding to trap unused air in the fire chamber you couldn't get that kind of efficiency. BTW i am working on that for the ion.
expect to get 1200 out of 45/45 for the ion im working on.

i am soldering the fire chamber shut so excess air does not escape
by doing this the air stays trapped in the gun and requires less pressure from the tank to operate. By using less pressure from the tank you get better air efficiency, meaning you get more shots. It is a simple idea really but that is beside the point.
