The one on the left is mine, the one on the right I picked up this week for $150. It was leaking (thats why I got it so cheap) and i put new O-rings and some tephlon tape and its shooting great.

FEP made olive to back fades for the 07s and the raiders was that greyish color to black, I picked up my cousins blue quest recently, as well as my old Ion. That makes my arsenal 6 gats now.

Well since making this thread I've traded the red quest for a phantom. My other quest is shooting great. I really hope FEP comes back strong. The new bolt idea seems pretty sweet.
Pretty sure the Droid beats it, especially with the gold bolt for the Droid. Honestly I had my ul'd pm6 getting the same numbers as my cousins well broken in quest, I wish I would have taken note where I had the regs at.

Yes, gold bolt Droid will beat a properly set up Goldmember quest by ~100-150 shots off a 68/4500. However, if the new bolt and guide assembly for the Quest is released, it's supposed to improve the quest further (and also be more durable than the Goldmember) and so the Quest will probably retake the crown as the most efficient spool.
Had your cousin ever tuned the reg and dwell? I have a feeling he was still running stock on both that the PM6 getting as good efficiency. My PM's both get good efficiency, but even as well as they're set up, still can't quite match my Quests in the same weather. Not that it's a TON of difference.
I set it up, which is a lot more then he could ever do. I was getting roughly ~1500 from my PM6. I just had that thing set up EXTREMELY well. His quest had the stock bolt in it.

wait wait wait, I thought the Droid wasn't a real Spool valve. Isn't it a poppet valve smashed into a single tube??? Like a marq, so its not really a spool vavle...
And you are full of **** kenny, I've never seen a PM6 get close to that great. its more like 1100-1200 shots. No way your getting 1500. Theirs a guy on my speedball team that shoots one and my quest beats it in efficency everytime and my quest dosn't even have a goldmember bolt.
No, droid is a spool. It's just unbalanced spool (ala Shocker, PMR, Ion, EOS). Because it runs at low pressure (typically 110-140 psi), they decided to skip putting a lpr on it.
A well broke in and tuned PM8 can get around 1600, so 1500 isn't impossible for a PM6. Not going to happen at stock settings, but if it's well broke in, set up by someone who really knows what they're doing, in good weather, yeah, it's possible. They're just very rare numbers. Most of the PM6's will get, as you say 11-1200. Most PM8's will get closer to 12-1400.
