Ok, it's not usually THAT bad. None of mine were all THAT strong, but none of them bounce.

If you can get ahold of a replacement magnet, yes, I would drill it completely out, then just superglue a proper magnet into it's place.

I have not, the stock detents have always worked well for me so the one Quest that I had to replace them in (the 06 that just died) I replaced them with stocks.

I've kinda been wanting to do this to one/both of my Quests, but I'm pretty sure that I would f it up in some way or another. What are the benefits of this?
Also, I still think that we should switch bodies out. You know you want to!

Benefits of the LPR mod is that it recharges significantly faster, so you are able to use a lower LPR pressure to cycle, and your theoretical max ROF will go up.
Guide pin mod is the same as all pin mods, lowers volume thus increasing efficinecy.
Tip mod prevents rollback, and allows the Quest to work with more fragile paint better.

I think I have a problem. I have never owned a quest, yet I just bought spare parts for a quest.
I didn't think $28 was bad for the following stock parts(used): Bolt and bolt pin, HPR, LPR, Spring, eye covers, and eyes. They were gold, so at least if I buy a "ninja" quest as most people call them, it will not be so ugly or ninja.
