Censorship Options
I was just over on the nation and noticed that they now give the option to turn the censorship off. I think this forum should do the same.
Oppinions?

we dont want to see the asterisks in the first place. sure we all curse once in a while, but if we allow disabling the censors then people will be cursing left and right thinking its okay

What the ****, it doesnt really ****ing matter. I mean how the **** do you know im not just typing **** astric's all over the ****ing place. Stupid *****es. 
Well. Im up for it. Maybe only allow the disable option to people 18 and up? I dont really like people cursing. But if they do, i would like to be able to see what they said. Sometime's its hard to tell between **** and ****... etc.. |

I don't really see how it’s needed. I mean, even if we did do the "18 and up" thing everyone would just change their age to 18 so they could do it. I find it to be unnecessary, you can tell what people are saying because of the context most of the time anyway, and the times you cant, its not the end of the world, and its not that hard to guess.

it doesnt really matter to me...i dont think all the little **** things are nessecary..it just turns into this

umm, because people actually type out the word...we dont just put random asterisks. i just think the V word should be taken off, since a lot worse words for the same meaning are used, and not censored. its not like we use the word a lot, but it just seems unneccessary. |

I really see no reason for it not to be disabled. If you're under 13, you should not be on the forums in the first place. And if you're over 13, and you have a serious problem with reading the word ****, tough.
