problem moving threads

Greetings,
I was trying to clean up some things in PB Chat by way of moving threads to their correct forum. They aren't getting moved, but copied, even though I am using the menu function to move them to the new forum with no redirect.

Any ideas from the senior admins??

Not sure. I just tried it and I've got the same problem. I'd shoot Roger a pm if he doesn't see this.

Just to clarify the problem: when you move threads, the thread does get moved but a redirect gets left behind even if you set it not to?

no. When you move a thread, completely remove the thread, it leaves the original thread in tact while moving the thread as well. In other words, it copies the thread instead of moving it.

I can't seem to recreate that. In my tests, it leaves a redirect even when I tell it not to. I'm pretty sure they are related issues though.

Can someone try to move this thread: Test thread
into the moderator forum please. I want to test what happens.

Ok, I moved it. However, it still left a copy of the thread in Forum Tech; even though I selected "Move to destination forum."
