I have adds popping out at me and I do not appreciate it.
Is anybody else having adds pop up? not normal popup adds, but ones that I can not close till they are done telling me whatever it is they want to tell me. So far it's onyl happened a few times and only on the main page. Needless to say, I am NOT pleased.

IF you go to your PBF profile settings there is a check box at the very bottom that will disable the Itelitix ads that are embedded in the forum. Check the announcements too for other information.
Hope that solves the problem.

Scan your PC in safe mode with AdAware (free) and Spybot search and destroy (free) and it will most likely get rid of the adware. If you need further help, you can go to PC Help Forum (google it, im not posting link.) And send them a HiJackThis report.

Haha, I doubt it's adware. It's not at all that uncommon for websites to have an AD like that.
Besides, he said it was fixed.
I'm running FF with Adblock Plus as well, and there's not a single ad for me either.

Umm, it is still POSSIBLE that it IS adware. I never said it IS for sure I said "Most Likely get rid of". ADWARE isnt hard to get AT ALL. And I have adblock, firefox and avast on my parents PC and IT STILL gets ads.

You saying "most likely get rid of" implies that you're saying there definitely is adware on his pc. Or else what would there be to "get rid of"? Therefore, by saying that, you were saying (in my eyes) that it is, for sure, the answer.
And you could have a ton of adblockers and still get adware. I have half of the adblockers you have and I haven't gotten a popup in over a year.
But we won't get technical. Plus, I'm not going to further hijack this thread.

It was definitely an add on the page. once i updated the add blocker, the entire add it popped out of is gone.

ok i have internet explorer, and everytime i close out of it completly (which isn't very often) and had been on this forum, like a million popups come up after that. im probably the only one with this problem. it ony happens when i close it though, so not like a normal one.
EDIT: o and so i dont have to open a new thread for something so simple, what are the credits and why do i keep getting more and what do you use them for???
