air problem

i have a tac-5m recon gun [wal-mart gun] and when i install the co2 tank air leaks out the barrel[like a fine mist, but lots of leakage]. There is no other leaking and it leaks only out the barrel even if the cock is pulled or not. i have pulled it apart and the o-rings look fine and have replaced the o-ring on the co2 tank. i even made sure gun was clean and used gun oil on o-rings like it said too[2 drops on o-rings]. can anyone help?

Try turning down the velocity. If it has a velocity adjuster, I am not familiar with those markers.

If you did all that and it didn't help, either a part is installed improperly or you have a bad part. Which can be very likely for walmart guns. Nothing against them or anything, but you know.

Gotta be an o-ring or a valve problem. Lube up your marker and see if that stops it. If not, check the valve for damage like cracks and that.

whatever the problem is, if it is not a common o ring id guess its gunna be hard to track down parts for, if its under warrenty id get a new one and sell it for what you can get for it then go to a paintball shop and get an entry level marker that they carry parts for (a basic pmi pirahna will be under $100 and easy to work on for example)
