how do i get my parents to let me get a paintball gun

yea they think it is a gun and it is dangerous and i could loose an eye i said i would have gogles

We could use a little more info so that we could help you out. Maybe you could tell us exactly why they won't let you have one?(have you even asked yet?)

Is it money?
Do they think you will hurt your self? (shoot your self in the eye)
Do they think you will shoot the neighburs cat, or something else you not supposed to shoot?

Find ou texactly what it is that they are worryed about, then we will see what we can do to help.

well, show them all the safety equipment out there and how it is all certified. show them the good side of paintball. try 2 convince them that it isnt a bad sport

Oh, wile I was writing my post you responded.

Ok, well you should tell them about the masks that you wear.
show them the masks online. Tell them about the great safty record that paintball has. Tell them that the masks are very very very safe. One counpany(I think its JT) tested their masks with a 12 guage shot gun(a real bulet shooting gun) and it did not go through. (Don't try this your self)

Paintball is very safe unless you do something stupid, like take off your mask.

yes i asked my brother had a guns and he brought it to shcool and he got suspended it didnt even have any pellets my parents have heard about people loosing there eyes but that has never hapend at a feild

I just had an idea,you could make a deal with your parents:

It would gosomething like this:

They let you but a gun and use it at field, but when you bring the gun home you have to let your parents take a way the co2 tank, the hopper, or the paintballs. (or all three)That way you could not use the gun.

i know, paintball has had less injuries than bowling, and they wouldnt make a mask if it would break (what would be the point of making one). i hate it when people think that its dangerous, bad, and war like. ITS NONE OF THOSE. i like telling those people to learn the facts before they start talking.
