Hey, dammit..... no one is going to rob me of my elaborate "1,000 post victory dance" which I should reach sometime in March of 2005!
I really don't mind the post count that much. I usually ignore it, but if I talk to someone I'm not that familiar with it makes a general gauge of how to respond to something. (Low post counts are usually either "new players" or "potential jerkwads".)
Personally, my own count could be a heckuva lot higher by now, I just refrain from posting if I really don't have anything semi-useful/entertaining to add. I'd rather have 500 solid, thought-out posts than 1,500 of mostly fluff, but that's just me. I admit though, it's irritating to see someone quote 3 paragraphs, only to say "ya" and see it count for just as much. *shrug*
(Hey, since my posts tend to run long, can I just get my post count to multiply by 5?
