i have been talkin to doomsday and skurge about this idea that could help out on the forums okay here it is

to make a new forum that will be called VIP heres hows it works
-1 st you have to be voted in this forum maybe we could start out with all the mods and admins in there
-you have to have a VIP title to get in and post
-VIPs will have no powers but to go to this forum just for them
-it will be a hang out spot for the ppl who have been here long and the ones who want to be mods this way instead of having 80 ppl who want to mods first they are VIPs
- then they have to be in there for maybe 5 months (example) before they can become a mod
- this way we can find out who wants to be one more
-we wont have alot of ppl asking to be mods
-its kinda like a test and a place for all the regulars to go it will make these ppl feel special

i think this is a good idea and just might work

Yup, sounds good. I wonder if Cobra can set it up. The good part about it is instead of everyone in the forum saying they want to be a mod we can at least use the excuse "You have to be a VIP first" Anyway, it gets my approval what about the rest of you guys?

Very good Idea that way you can fell special without having to load the forums woth mods.

This one is going to have to take some thinking about. I don't want to make other members feel less important than any other player. I can see where some of the guys would like the VIP forum.

yeah i see where your coming form cobra but then why not make it a right and that you have to have a certain # of posts before you can be voted in like make some before you can be in and dont you ppl think that some ppl dont feel important mostly the ones that have been here long and want to be a mod but cant be one because theres to much already

This sounds like a very good idea. Although there are some points as Cobra mentioned that would make other members feel "left out" or "less important."

Maybe there should be some type of voting and recommending. For instance, I don't think just the high posters should be nominated because we know some of them don't really deserve it, and post, well... just to post!

Overall: You'll need to ask around a little and get some more input.

yeah we gotta wait for some more input also about thr high posters well maybe it could just be ppl like you who like to help ppl out but still not a mod or i not to sure yet will just have wait and see what every one else has to say and add on but so far every one but 1 person didnt like this idea

Well, at the moment we are thinking you would be voted in by other VIP's. This would be based on weither your a nice guy, been here a while, you post good stuff, follow the rules, stuff like that.

well you have to remember.. cobra didnt program this vbulletin script.. the software may not support that kind of forum. im not familiar with it.

But if a restricted- to- certain- members- forum is possible, it gets my vote.. if i was one of the VIP's lol

I think the idea is ok but what would you talk about we already have a forum for like everything enless you took the lounge forum and made it the vip forum. But it would encourage you to be nice to other people and stuff like that to get voted in. I think the moderators should have the final say in who is voted in or out of the forum though. You shouldn't make it that you have to have a # of posts to get in because we already have enough people trying to rack up posts.

yes spalt thats what i was thinking now about the high posters and about the votibg r u saying that only the mods will vote in ppl right ? cause i think that would be better than having all the VIPs voting it would be alot easier to just have the mods vote in

also, i would steer clear of the # of posts to get in thing. we will just have people posting useless crap, just to get into that forum
