In terms of ROF and weight, the Imagine. But IMO it depends on what kind of paintball you play. If you play woodsball, and ONLY woodsball, the Tippmann is right for you. If you play speedball and woodsball, or just speedball, the Imagine will serve you much better.

get the imagine no matter what tippy's arent worth the money
1. they look like a block of metal
2. everyone says that they are the most reliable gun they might be but when do you ever need a gun that lasts more then 2 years...
3. they arent electric
you could really go on forever... you might actually want to look into the new smart parts gun the ion... its 300 alil more then the imagine but belive me you will be happy you spent the extra money

I was actually thinking of buying a spyder imagine myself, but was debating whether or not to. I want a gun that is electric and reliable along with moderately priced(ya who doesn't?) But why do some of you say the tippman? All you say is GO WITH THE TIPPMAN but you don't give a reason why! That isn't really a lot of help when trying to decide what marker to get... So what do you people think would be a good electronice gun around 100-150 dollars to get? And why?

Smitty's right b/c tippys are more reliable more durable, but the Imagine or the Evo is faster, lighter, and looks a little better its pretty much were you play woods or speed.

dude yah i would say imagine... tippmans are heavy, ugly (to me), shoot very very slow with the stock trigger, and the upgrades are sometimes a tad more expensive to get. also if you ever ever plan on playing even a little speedball and not just woodsball, screw tippman and get the spyder. i mean the tippman 98c and imagine are comparible in price but you get the e frame with the imagine. and they still perform around the same. and spyders i think are easier to field strip. i could go on for days. dont get me wrong, tippman is good, but not really if you play even a little speedball or if you dont have that much to upgrade with, and there good if you need to have a gun last more than 2 or 3 years.
